My latest design and production had to fulfill one goal – to create loudspeaker capable to work with very low powers in SE mode! When saying this I mean powers from 1Watt to 4Watts, usually with famous electronic tube marked as 2A3.
I already had one hand-made integrated amplifier with this tube (Russian equivalent), I tried many loudspeakers but they lacked this low level sensitivity – they produced nice sound, but what lacked them was dynamics and timbre which I knew this tube can create!
So I carried with this to try to make pair of loudspeakers that can show the splendour of this ancient tube!
I ended with the project Prestigue 2, which include something very special!

Both units have the same size, but they differ very much. I call one driver CENTRAL UNIT, the other LOW FREQUENCY UNIT.
It took me three months of calibration, change of internal cables, capacitors, etc … to finally come to the point where I can say it has created the sound I really appreciate!
